limescale magnetic scale transformer by hachfeld kenya

What is Limescale?

Limescale is a combination of magnesium and calcium deposits formed when hard water evaporates.

Left unchecked, limescale deposits can lead to heat transfer losses in addition to attracting expensive repairs coupled with equipment downtime.

How does it work?

When water flows through the Magnetic® Scale Transformer, it passes through a strong magnetic field which alters the structure of calcium and magnesium. In turn, this inhibits calcium and magnesium from forming thick layers (deposits) on the surface of the pipes.

It then follows that calcium and magnesium remain suspended in water in a “non-sticky” state which can only form a very thin layer of scale.

To better illustrate this, please see the images below as obtained from a customer`s site before and after installing the Magnetic® Scale Transformer:

The Magnetic® Scale Transformer comes with a 20 year guarantee and there are no installation, running or maintenance costs.
